When we are young, we do not realize that the world is constantly changing while we sleep. Our lives are mostly centered around our sleep while we are asleep, leaving us with little to no experience in the world of wakefulness. It is only during our adulthood where we develop a perspective on what it means to be awake and what it means to be asleep.
While awake, people tend to focus on their past mistakes while sleeping, allowing them to move forward without regretting the past.
